No, really! I got this off our league home page just now. I just copied and pasted it like I do every time!
Isn’t it beautiful!?! It shows the Wolverines DOMINATING the league. Only the Drive are offering any competition, and, frankly, I don’t think they’re much of a threat.
True, one of the categories in which Old Detroit is Old Dominator is losses. It’s hard to put a positive spin on that. So let’s ignore it, which we can do because the Old AbDomination is just killing it in GB, whatever that is. No, silly, that isn’t “Ground Balls”. The W’s don’t get enough plate appearances to lead in a category like that.
No, it’s something really cool, like… like… I don’t know! Something really cool!
Great Bod! I bet that’s it. Tom’s got a 10, most of you have… lesser numbers. But the Old Abdominator has a 13.7, way off the charts. Makes total sense to me!
I am sensing skeptical vibes coming through the interweb.

Unless you are the Kangaroos (or the Balk), these standings aren’t all that great for you. Nine of us are under .500. Two of us are literally tied for 5th place (CG and SS) , a third is virtually tied (HD), and a fourth, fifth, and sixth might as well be (PP, PA, PR — the three Ps.) Teams 2 through 9 are jammed close enough together they could all fit between teams 1 & 2, 9 & 10… AND between teams 10 and 11.
That said, it is still true that there are some WILD things going on early in Week 7, which you can see from this data on our head-to-head contests this week:

The EFL features 5 team with raw winning percentages under .100 so far this week. Of those 5, two have adjusted winning percentage still below .100 — with Kaline’s all the way down to .003, thanks to the Rosebuds’ .500, .600, .750 slash line yesterday, and their 17.7 ip with 4 earned runs — and the resulting .964 raw winning percentage.
This chart — showing the top two lines for rc/g among EFL hitters this week (ie, yesterday) — explains a large part of the Rosebuds’ early dominance:
Week 7 Batting Stats After 1 Games
(Minimum 3.1 Plate Appearances)
Player | Team | PA | AB | Hits | Dbl | Tpl | HR | BB | SO | TB | RCPG | AVG | OBP | SLG | OPS | BABIP | BABOOP |

The next hitter on the list — FH’s Donovan Solano — only created 45.35 rc/g yesterday. The 5th and 8th most productive hitters were also Rosebuds (Maikel Garcia 29.90, Jazz Chisholm 23.35)..
